I love old Parthurnax but Delphine and Esbern seem to forget that the whole reason for the existence of the Blades is to serve the Dragonborn.Delphine even says this when you first talk to her. I'm almost getting into the habit of cursing the weight of dragon bones again! I simply couldn't be bothered with the blades at first. I've had half a dozen or more random dragon attacks since I did the start of the blades stuff.

Maybe the trigger for random dragons is actually one of these Blades quests?Įdit: it's confirmed. Nice overhaul of the Temple plus an integrated player home - also an additional garden mod by the same mod author.Temple. I'm optimistic now that I'll get a more 'normal' amount of random attacks: we'll see. I decided to set off with the blades stuff, rescued the hermit and walked out of Riften.Roar! Blast! Bam! a dragon attacks.oh, the joy! I did a load of random dungeons, the Dawnguard main quest and Dragonborn main quest but didn't get any further than finding that Windfarter's cornet had been stolen. I had it in my mind that the random dragon attacks start after defeating the one at Whiterun, but in the past I've always done the Greybeards' Horn of Jurgen Windfarter and the Blades stuff right afterward.this time I didn't. I think I've just found the answer to my over-shy dragons. The general population still go on about all the dragon attacks, which seems out of place when there have only been two, Helgen and Whiterun.

After all, the whole reason for the main game is supposed to be that Skyrim is beset by dragons and needs a hero type to kill the army of Alduin. Also, I find that it detracts from the game. I kind of miss being set upon by the big lizards. I've done heaps of that to try to discover most of the locations. It's not that I've not been wandering in the wilds either. Was wondering if anyone would change this, add manaquins and weapon racks, shield/weapon. If you have a SSD as well as HDD I recommend installing Skyrim in your SSD and set the Mod Organizer 2 download path on your HDD to save SSD space. of 2 - Sky Haven Temple - posted in Skyrim Mod Talk: I don't have any modding experience, but was wondering if this idea appeals to any modders who might want to give it a go, Sky Haven temple old blades fortress of Skyrim, for some reason items aren't flagged as yours when you join the blades.

If you have a SSD load times are not bad when using a lot of retexture mods.

In fact I've encountered so few that I've had to use the console to give myself dragon souls for most of the shouts that I've learned. According to my testing textures/models mods dont effect fps much or at all but can increase load times. So far (I'm presently level 51) in Special Edition, the only dragons I've seen are the one at Whiterun and dragons at the word walls. In the middle of handing over crimson nirnroot at Sarethi Farm.Roar! Yet another dragon. Turn up outside Windhelm.Wallop! Dragon attack. With the old Skyrim, they were constantly plaguing you.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that those random dragon attacks have completely stopped in Skyrim Special Edition?
